Current flight requirements for domestic flights in Indonesia
Domestic travelers must comply with the following provisions:
Travelers who travel by private or public vehicle is responsible for his/her own health, and is subject to comply with the applicable terms and conditions;
Travelers are required to use the PeduliLindungi application as a condition for traveling domestically.
Domestic travelers traveling by air, sea, land transportation modes using private or public vehicles, crossings, and intercity trains from and to regions throughout Indonesia, must comply with the following provisions:
Domestic travelers who have received the third dose of vaccination (booster) is not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test;
- Domestic travelers that have received only the second dose of vaccination is required to show a negative result of the rapid antigen test whose sample is taken within 1 x 24 hours or a negative result of the RT-PCR test which sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure;
- Domestic travelers that have received only the first dose of vaccination is required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test which sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure;
- Domestic travelers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that prevent them from receiving vaccinations are exempt from the vaccination requirements, but must show a negative rapid antigen test result whose sample is taken within 1 x 24 hours or a negative RT-PCR test result whose sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure as well as attach doctor's certificate from a Government Hospital stating that the person concerned has not and/or is unable to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination; or
- Domestic travelers under 6 years of age are exempt from vaccination requirements and are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test, but must travel with adult companions who have met the vaccination requirements and passed the COVID-19 test as well as implementing health protocols.

Domestic travelers specifically for routine trips using land transportation modes using private or public vehicles and trains in one urban agglomeration area are excluded from the travel requirements as regulated in letter c.

The regulations as referred to in point 3 are excluded for pioneering modes of transportation, including in border areas, underdeveloped areas, and limited shipping.

It must be noted that it is also mandatory for everyone to download and use the PeduliLindungi app on mobile phones as a requirement to enter some public areas in Indonesia.
