Boats to Rinca Island, Kanawa, Bidadari, Seraya and Sabolo
Boats to small islands (not Komodo Island) around Labuan Bajo are small local buginese, wooden boats. There are no facilities for cooking or sleeping. A small and simple toilet indonsian style is available. They have usually only one engine. Thats why they are efficient in using gasoline, but also a little bit slow. A one way trip to Rinca takes about two hours.

Boats to Komodo, Padar Island, Pink Beach and Manta Point
are bigger boats with two engines to cross the strong currents around Komodo. The boats are equipped with a toilet, indonesian or western style. On the the front deck there are chairs and a table. Some boats have a small and simple sundeck without any furnitures or mattresses.
