Standard Boats with air conditioned cabins

have one to four cabins to accommodate one to 12 people. Some boats have two bunk beds in one bigger cabin. A cabin with a double bed is very seldome and we cannot guarantee that you get such a boat. In the rear is a small kitchen and on some boats the dining area as well. The bathroom is either in the rear or beside the cabins. The toilets are western style where you can sit on it. But please don't expect flush toilets. The hand shower operates by an electrical pump. The sitting area is usually in the front, infront of the captains cabin. Air conditioned boats have sometimes an open or a half covered second sundeck.

The cabins are small and simple. They are equipped with one or two bunk beds in each cabin, blankets, pillows and air condition. Electricity is proved by generators only in the evening and not during the night. You can charge your camera or mobile phone batteries with 220 V. Luggage has to be stored in a separate place. We recommend to take not so much luggage with you.

Please dont expect any luxury cruise boats and no luxury service. All boats are local, wooden buginese boats operated by local people who offer you a good service. Every boat is equipped with life jackets. A life raft is not available.

FKE cannot guarantee at time of booking which one of the Superior Boats with cabins you get. We only guarantee the boat class "Boat with air condition in the cabins".

We don't provide Economy Class Cabin Boats for cleanliness and safety reasons.
